Apple Files New Patent for Self-Repair Technology
with iPhone LCD repair Feature
Apple is in the process of filing a patent to create a new technology that would reduce the need for external iPhone LCD repair.
Apple’s proposed self-repair feature is posited to have the ability to detect LCD damage, as well as any other damages, and using a self repair feature carry out the iphone LCD repair itself.
This feature would eliminate the need for the iPhone user to visit the Apple store or repair stores in order to carry out any iPhone LCD repair needed.
The new technology will be able to detect any damages incurred to the phone and using its self-repair feature repair the damages when the phone is not in use.
The iPhone will be able to detect when the user is absent from the phone, such as when they are asleep, or in a loud and busy environment.
How Will Apple’s New Feature Aid iPhone LCD Repair?
In terms of LCD damage, the self-maintenance feature will be able to detect any damage and repair the damage through a specific light cycle. This process would take a number of hours and would only occur when the user is not using the iPhone. As soon as the owner picks up the iPhone, the repair cycle will be paused so that the user can use the smartphone like normal.
This self-repair process would include both LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) and LED (Light Emitting Diode) damage. Damages to these aspects of the iPhone can be indicated by missing spaces on the phone screen, noticeably darker pixels, and the appearance of lines on the display. Such damages can be incurred through LCD or LED burning.
In addition to the iPhone LCD repair, this new self-maintenance feature promises to repair water damage as well as any connectivity issues or button response issues.
